Claire Marfisi – Claude Robin
Shamaille
The Shamaille collection is born out of an encounter between Claire Marfisi, ceramist and Claude Robin designer,
After creating in 2012 a wall sculpture made up of numerous openwork squares, assembled one on top of the other and inseparable from each other, the story continues…
With Shamaille 2018: two connected links, two links with varying contours, which remain moveable..
A connectedness emphasised by construction lines which are more or less present. The Shamaille 2018 collection is made up of 8 compositions. 7 examples of each sculpture are produced.
Shamaille is made by two pairs of hands in black stoneware clay, and fired in an electric kiln at 1240° C.
Exhibition from June 8 to July 16, 2019.
Opening Saturday, June 8 from 6pm to 9pm preceded by a meeting with the artists at 5pm.
